The University of Mississippi has witnessed an astonishing renaissance since one of the law school’s own—Robert Khayat—became chancellor in 1995. New and renovated buildings grace a campus that is the pride of the South. More important, there has been a renaissance in the university’s academic heart through innovative programs such as the Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College and the Croft Institute for International Studies. But among those who love the university, there’s a growing sense that we have unfinished business, and that business is the law school.
